Rent E-bike

Need an E-bike for a few hours or several days? Voltaire Cycles Verona is happy to provide you one  and choose the desired time to pick up. The bike will be fully charged and reserved for your convenience.

We offer E-bike rental rates at $20 per hour, $40 per 3 hours, $50 per day or $250 per week.  Please call for RESERVATION ahead of time.

Where to go:

1. Rail trail West Essex trail - beautiful former railroad, nowadays is a biking and hiking trail. You can come back through Highland Avenue, Montclair. It's a quiet stret with rich houses. Round trip 9 mies.


 

2. Eagle rock reservation. Observe a spectacular view over the entire New York City, round trip - 7 miles

 

 3. Explore the oldest city in our neighborhood - Montclair, visit a nice Brookdale park. Round trip - 10 miles.

4. Make a loop over West Essex trail, visit Montclair, have a rest in the Brookdale park and come back to the shop. Round trip - 12 miles.

Rules:

  1. We rent out only electric bicycles, class 2 with throttle and pedal assist.
  2. All riders must be at least 15 years old. We won't ask proof of age but if the child will be 11-12 y.o, he/she won't be permitted to ride an e-bike.
  3. I understand that there are inherent and other risks involved in bike riding, that injuries are a common and ordinary occurrence, and I freely and voluntarily agree to assume all risks involved, including the risk of serious injury or death.
  4. I have been instructed on how to operate the bike and I understand how to safely ride the bike and operate it brakes and shift levers.
  5. I have been advised on the necessity of wearing a helmet for this rental and have been offered a helmet to use free of charge during the rental.
  6.  I understand I may encounter the following while I am testing the bike:  pedestrians, auto traffic, parked cars, sewer gratings, potholes, construction, debris and other hazards, obstacles and distractions.
  7. I agree to assume all risks inherent to riding a bicycle and to obey all traffic laws, signs, local regulations, and rules of the road for bicycles.
  8. To the fullest extent allowed by law, I agree to RELEASE, HOLD HARMLESS AND INDEMNIFY this bicycle store, the manufacturers and the distributors of this bicycle, and their owners, agents and employees from any and all liability for injuries or damages to the user of this equipment or to any other person or property resulting from the use of this bicycle.  I agree NOT TO SUE or make a claim against this bicycle store or the manufacturers of this bicycle for injuries relating to the use of this equipment.
  9. I agree that it is my responsibility to know how to properly ride and operate the bicycle and obtain necessary instruction.  I understand the function of the bicycle and will not misuse or abuse the bicycle.  If I feel the bicycle is not functioning properly, I will stop using it and have it inspected, repaired or adjusted by a qualified technician.  I will not make any adjustments to the bike during the rental unless assisted by a salesperson. 
  10.  I agree to return this bicycle in the same condition that it was rented to me, and I understand that any damage incurred will be my resposibility. I agree to return this bike clean. Mud or dirt covered bikes will be assessed a cleaning fee.
